Our skills in training
Phase 2 training - A one-week residential course for new Road Safety Officers
On behalf of the National Staff Training Group, we run this course jointly with TMS Consultancy.
It is designed for new entrants to the profession who have already completed Phase 1 or have 6-12 months on job experience.
A limited number of places are also available for police officers or military staff with a road safety responsibility. Click here for more details.
Phase 2 in London
A Phase 2 course specifically for London road safety professionals will be held in 2008/09. The dates have yet to be confirmed.
Organised on behalf of the Pan London Road Safety Steering Group, the course is open to staff from London Boroughs, Transport for London and Metropolitan / City of London Police at no cost to participants.

Work-related Road Safety
Many people use the roads as part of their work. The Department for Transport estimate that up to twenty road deaths each week involve people at work.
Road Safety Officers can play a key role in addressing this issue and helping business to manage the risk that people face when driving as part of their job.
In association with TMS Consultancy, we are offering Work Related Road Safety Training Days at various locations throughout Britain. The
day is concerned with reviewing the issue and considering practical approaches that can be adopted at a local level.
Translating strategy into practice means considering the role that RSOs have and how implementation can be managed on a day to day basis.
The day has been organised to provide a focus for road safety professionals as well as an informal network opportunity for everyone to
share information and ideas.
Both RSN Associates and TMS Consultancy are LARSOA accredited training organisations.
